Some stories begin with love and celebration. Others start with silence, rejection, and situations beyond a child's control. This is the story of a girl born into a family torn apart by conflict, where her very first day was clouded by tragedy and blame. As she grows, she must navigate a life filled with misunderstanding, emotional pain, and the quest for acceptance. Through every challenge, her journey shows the strength of the human spirit and the hope that even the darkest beginnings do not have to shape the rest of one's life.

I've always wondered what it was like to live in a happy home; you know the ones with the parents who love you unconditionally. I've dreamed about finding that one true love; the person that would sweep you off your feet and hold you close to them. I dreamed a lot of things, but none of them would come true. My name is Reese and well I wished to find a lot of things, but most of all I guess I wanted to find something to hold on for in this world. I'm your average eighteen year old teenager, except minus the fact my parents don't care for me, I don't really know who I am or what I am, I can't even find some sort of happiness. I guess what I'm trying to say is life pretty much sucks and I guess all these years I was never actually living my life just standing in the shadows. He showed me what it was like to love something so much it hurt, to be exicited for something so strange, but most of all he showed me that my life had a purpose. I guess you can say my life changed on that beach, but now I sit back here wondering just what exactly happened in those few weeks.

She wasn't the kind of girl you'd write poetry about. Not the loudest laugh in the room. Not the quietest either. Some days she was thunder. Some days she was fog. Most days, she was a little bit of everything - too much for some, not enough for others. She didn't like attention, but hated feeling invisible. She craved deep conversations, but often ghosted when things got too close. People called her complicated. She called it survival. This isn't a love story. Not yet. It's just a story of a girl who's still figuring out who she is... and maybe, who she was never meant to be.
