Aria has always been the one who saves everyone else. When her best friend Lena fell apart, Aria held her together. When her boyfriend Evan lost his way, she became his compass. And when her own world started to crumble, she smiled through it - because that's what the strong ones do. But strength means nothing when the people you'd die for are the ones holding the knife. One ordinary night, Aria walks into Lena's house and finds the truth - raw, devastating, and unforgettable. The two people who defined her life are entwined in a betrayal that shatters everything she believed about love, friendship, and loyalty. As Aria's world collapses, she must face the hardest truth of all: she's spent her whole life choosing others. Now, she has to learn how to choose herself. Told with lyrical intensity and aching honesty, The Girl Who Chose Them is a story of heartbreak, rage, and rebirth - a journey through the wreckage of betrayal toward the quiet power of self-worth.

A Wattpad Featured Story! Others call her troublemaker, antagonist, bully, abuser, and even my mother. But I no longer can call her my mom. This is the story why. This is a non-fiction book. All events are 100% true from my life. The writing style is mixed. All chapters are short. A couple are written in easy to read prose, freestyle. The rest of the chapters by necessity are more narrative in style, written in first person. By writing this it is helping me to stop nightmares, and to finally feel free. I also wanted to write this to help others.

Have you ever stopped, taken a break, and just thought about life and the world we live in. Have you ever wondered if there was more to it than just what we see. Have you ever randomly questioned the fairy-tales you grew up hearing. A question that was never answered. It is a question most others would laugh at, find absurd and childish. One every child to ever live has asked. Others might think you are childish and immature to ask such a question. But, is it truly, a childish question. Is it truly childish to wonder and believe in such things. Or is it truly a worthy question with a magnificent answer. Have you ever wondered what the answer is. What is the answer to the question that has been asked by children for centuries. Are our so called fairy tales and legends real? Is Cinderella and her glass slipper all fake or is there more truth in it then we ever thought. More truth than we could have imagined. What about Peter Pan, Tinkerbell, Captain Hook and Neverland, are those stories nothing but falsehoods, fakes, fallacies, and lies, or are they true. What about all the different stories, legends, myths, and folktales around the world, told to children as life lessons or bedtime stories. Lies, frauds, fakes, is that all they are, or, are they more than we ever realized, than we ever thought or imagined, are they more real that we want to admit. Are they more real than we have ever truly known. Before this our story begins why not take a moment, just one moment,to wonder if there truly is more to the world then what meets the eye. More than what science tells us. Is there more out there than just what we see, just what we hear or smell. Are all these supposed myths, legends, folktales, and fairytales, really nothing more than fictional stories made to teach lessons or scare children in the night. Nothing more than stories made to fill children's heads with thoughts of happily ever afters, and happy endings. Or are they more true than we have ever known or realized.

It's the year 1890. Hannah Maxfield is a teenage daughter of an Appalachian Mountain Healing Woman who wishes to follow in her mother's footsteps of offering her isolated and impoverished community medical care through herbs and untraditional remedies. Edward Nelson is an arrogant new doctor, fresh out of the Philadelphia Medical School, who abides by his Aunt Margaret Thompson's request to come to the Eastern Kentucky settlement and apprentice under her husband, Dr. Henry Thompson. Mrs. Thompson, a former society lady of Philadelphia, herself, secretly hopes Dr. Nelson takes over the practice completely so her husband can retire and rescue her from a state of loneliness. An Appalchian Story pitches the old against the new, unconventional medicine against proven science and the innocent beauty of a country girl against the refined and educated charms of an aristocratic doctor.

A song, a poem about my journey through a horizon of shape shifting forms towards the one called Hope. I wrote this on a plane - with the fading warmth of an amber sky throwing a faint light on my fingers, peachish grey clouds huddled up like deep converstation and Coldplay trying to help drown out the sound of a crying baby, a tag that reads " not all those who wander are lost" and me thinking "lucky them."
