Following a boating accident that ultimately leads to her death, nineteen year old Paige Flemming spends her eternal life watching over her family and their dog Hayden, unable to move on. Months after her death, the Flemming's schedules a family vacation on the open water in hopes of rebuilding the bond they once had.
