Hiking the Vermont peaks over 4,000 feet is a short but must-do list if you're going for the Northeast 115. For me, it's five mountains, one challenge, a new state, new trails, and new places to explore. From the summits, I can look across Lake Champlain and see what I just accomplished in the Adirondacks.
