The poem exhibited below gives an account of the modern world, where people have two faces. One which acts as a mask and the other which reflects on the real person. "Camouflage" in animals is a defensive mechanism but for humans it can refer to "hiding the reality of oneself to showcase high status in the society" or "hiding the feelings like pain and sorrow from others". What one should ponder is how the world is changing rapidly and how are we developing from humans to chameleons.

Follows two bestfriends, Payton and Triston who try to navigate, highschool, and family All the while having a hard time discovering themselves and keeping their friendship alive. Payton's Mom and to be Step-Dad don't make anything any easier, especially with the added anxiety and pressure to conform to one binary.

After killing herself after coming out of the closet. Hazel was given a second chance to fix her life with the help of the Grim Reaper. The Grim Reaper resets her life and things seem to be going well. We also learn that Hazel coming out wasn't the entire reason she decided to take her life. But the Grim Reaper forgets to tell Hazel the most important thing about him resetting her life. A power that could make her new life worst then her first.
