Vance and Donna are French Finney is Italian Before moving to the States, Donna and Vance's last name was Auclair, after moving, they changed their last names to blend in. Vance changed his to Hopper, Donna changed her to Clarke so no one knew they were related after Vance developed his delinquent reputation. Also, the two have heavy French accents, and broken english :) Finney, originally Finney D'Amato, had his last name changed to Blake by his father when they moved to the states from Italy. Mr.Blake is not abusive in this story, he's working on being better for his son. Gwen is not included in this storyline because she stayed in Italy with her aunt.
