Finney Blake used to tutor Vance Hopper when they were younger but they didn't exactly end on the best of terms. Now in highscool, Finney gives people dating advice in exchange for money though he finds himself in over his head when Vance comes running for his help trying to get the attention of a certain Bruce Yamada, but the fact that they're older doesn't change much and they fall into old habits quickly. or Finney accidentally rekindles his crush on Vance and silently dies inside as he gives him dating advice.

For most of his life Finney Blake knew that his wasn't going to be simple. Many would assume growing up with an abusive father and an estranged sister had made him tough, but it had made him sensitive and left him with scars that would never fully heal. He had tried his best to make a life for himself after his father kicked him out at 16, but the world seemed to have it out from him since birth. After 4 years of scraping by on minimum wage jobs and sleeping in parks, Finney had finally saved up enough money to buy a house. It wasn't much, but it was his. The only problem was that it was located in one of Denver's ghettos.

He didn't know why Vance hated him so much but he did. But Finney was to caught up in his own problems to care that much about a bully. But what happens when the two teens find out that the hatred they share might be love? The two Broken teens make a great match right?

Robin teaches Finn Spanish so they can speak to each other without others knowing what they are saying. Then them and their friend Bruce are kidnapped by the Grabber. The grabber also kidnapped Griffin, Billy and Vance.
