What if Elena was a vampire from the very beginning hiding it from all of her friends. What if she didn't move to Mystic Falls until she was '17'. What if her parents weren't her real parents. (BTW Miranda and Grayson Gilbert DO NOT die.) Elena is an Original Vampire. She has been friends with The Mikaelsons since she was a child. Her parents were actually Ayanna and her husband making Elena a direct descendant of the Bennet line. She is the only Vampire/Witch hybrid. And she is the Original.
