Rey never knew her parents. She grew up in the Nima orphanage with her best friends, Finn and Rose. Rey had always loved to read, books were her escape. In books girls like her, orphans from nowhere always had amazing adventures, and discovered that their parents were really heroes or royalty. She loved all books, but her favorite was a new series that came out: The Starlight Chronicles. It was a science fiction - fantasy series that told of adventures in a far away galaxy. Rey quickly became the self proclaimed number one fan of the series, she wrote fan fictions on wattpad, made fan art, she had even written letters to the author. They became pen pales, best friends and she wants to meet him more than anything.

References to The Rise of Skywalker may ensue in the fanfic. The galaxy's in trouble again. Twenty-four years after the Battle of Exogol, the remnants of the First Order and the Empire have allied themselves with fledgeling sith cults from the corner of the galaxy under the queen of New Alderaan. The Jedi are gone, burned down in the Second Purge by Darth Keera herself, leaving scattered survivors across the galaxy. The New Republic remains tense, anticipating that the Imperial Remnant might make their move. A military ship makes a discovery in the Outer Regions that will change everything- the survival of one of the Skywalkers. The Children of the Stars is a saga examining the story that could follow the sequels. The children of Ben Solo and Rey feature as protagonists alongside the son of Finn and Rose Tico, and the daughter of Poe Dameron and Kaydel Ko Connix. Several characters from Legends also make their appearance.

Being Supreme Leader isn't going exactly how Kylo Ren expected and he is rethinking his place in the galaxy. Those loyal to the RESISTANCE are scattered and few. The FIRST ORDER grows stronger. Rey discovers that Hux plans on assassinating Kylo, and she offers the Supreme Leader safety on neutral ground. With this new and unfortunate turn of events, Rey must hide Kylo and defy the Resistance in hopes of returning Ben Solo to the light.

Following the events of The Last Jedi... The galaxy is undoing itself, and the opposing symbols of hope, Kylo Ren and Rey, struggle to understand what is happening to themselves and each other. Finn, Leia, Rose, Poe, Hux, and many others fight for their lives and ideals. Hearts break, alliances are mended and unmended, but worst of all, you don't know who is good and who is bad anymore.

After finally finding out where Luke is, Rey and Chewbacca set off in an attempt to bring the Master Jedi back to aid the Rebellion in their fight against the First Order. After killing his father, Kylo Ren is being torn between what's right and what's wrong. Rey was a private investigator, she and her three best friends started a P.I. company. She was in between cases and growing bored, thankfully she had Finn's birthday to keep her occupied. She was planning a big party for him. While she was shopping for his birthday present she met a handsome young stranger. It was clear that he was interested in her as he made an awkward attempt at flirting with her. But the more she talked to him the more suspicious she became, she didn't think he was who he said he was. And it seemed that every time she was with him someone was shooting at them both. If only he would tell her the truth about who he was, then maybe she could get to the bottom of this. But she was beginning to fear that she'd gotten in way over her head. (This was inspired by an episode of Charles Angels)
