The damaged remains of the Resistance pile onto the Millennium Falcon and flee the planet Crait after a devastating showdown against the First Order. The weak militia celebrate survival, but only briefly, as they slowly sink into solemn grief of the many losses of their comrades. Commander Poe tumbles in guilt and quiet emotional turmoil as he faces his insecurity and the loss of his squadron. Finn waits by the bedside of a serenely resting Rose in a makeshift infirmary, but he is in no way serene himself. However, a threat from the Unknown Regions known as the First Order plans to destroy the fledgling Republic.
