jack heard about noah smith, and instantly hated her. so when he sees her at finn's wake and finds out she's moving closer to live where finny grew up. he was furious, but reminded himself he's going to college and all will be good. but he never expected to randomly talk to her and actually enjoy the time spent. it reminded him of finny and the closure of his missing piece. but he forgot one big thing about himself. that he's finnys best friend. noah's always felt like an outsider, with her father being a work alcoholic and a mother that stays home. she's never got the closure she's needed. she'd loved the days she could go see finny and finally get away from her parents and her house. but it all blows up august 8th. her father decides he wants to move closer. moving would be a good idea noah could get to know more about where finny grew up. but she never thought about meeting a guy she'd fall for. will jack telling noah ruin everything?
