("Prince... Marshall!" Fionna said, caught off-guard by his sudden appearance. "Fi... wait a second, you." Marshall said, turning from his beloved momentarily to glare at Gumball. "Yes, me.... ah, pardon, Princess. I'll deal with this ruffian." Gumball said, glaring back at Marshall. Marshall moved closer to Fionna. "What are you doing on Middleground anyway?" He asked. "The wedding's being held here." Fionna explained. "I could ask you the same question." Gumball huffed, crossing his arms.) Fionna is set to be married to Prince Gumball to prevent a war when she is kidnapped by none other than her usual love interest, Marshall Lee. Together, they get through problems such as a naval blockade, the aforementioned arranged marriage, the oncoming war between their two countries, and presumably Stockholm Syndrome. What is this place?

On the day of Fionna's 17th birthday, an unpleasant surprise leads her along the path of the biggest adventure of her life. An event involving Prince Gumball needs to be fixed, and there have been many reports talking of strange crowns that change people when they are worn. Much like what happened to Betty before she become the Ice Queen. Marshall and Fionna go on an epic quest to search for the answer behind these mind controlling crowns before their evil powers tackle another soul into the oblivion of darkness. The two teens unlock emotions they never thought were possible when it came to one another. And there are also things stirring up in the NightO'Sphere, and Marshall is the problem, and solution, to all of them.

Yes another Marshall Lee the vampire King and Fionna the Human story. I read mostly all of them and got tired of the same old thing. Fionna the herioic, Fionna the kind nice and truthful and Marshall Lee the clever cold hearted bitter asshole that falls in love. Well guess what I'm a rule breaker. Fionna is cold heart and non tolerate to bullshit a hard core motor bike chick and Marshall Lee is still rebelous and a bullshit slacker but he isn't what everyone protrays him to be.
