Kory-Jessica Simlia has always had to pack up her things, say good-bye to close friends and stare out the window as she travelled with her foster parents all over Australia, where she would have to settle in to a new home, a new school, a new place.
But she can never get attached. Not really.
Because it would only be a certain amount of time before she would have to pack up, wave good-bye and stare out the window once again.
So getting attached would just be pointless.
And painful.
