On 28th October 1962, Gerry Anderson's second SUPERMARIONATION series, Fireball XL5 first aired on British television, and is fondly remembered as one of the best Anderson productions. It was also the only one of his programs to air on an American network. This book takes a look at the now cult TV classic for it's 60th Anniversary.

After the global organisations of the world prevented their destruction from the Mitrochondrofrom, the heroes who have been taken out of their time are to be returned to their periods to where they belong. It has never been fully understood how Zonnie, the pet Lazoon, came to be among the crew of the Fireball XL5.
