But in my case, I never had to dream of being the best, the greatest. The spirits have blessed me with extraordinary skills, skills that would help me bring this world further, even to its limits. It has been 10 years since the end of The Hundred Year War, ten years since Aang left her. Katara now finds herself in an unlikely pair with a melancholy Fire Lord while navigating life in Republic City. Excerpt: "Zuko stop!" she begged. He did not, he continued to nudge and press for an answer. Katara began to feel like the floor was slipping from under her. The room was no longer still and she was growing increasingly dizzy. She grabbed on to a column to steady herself. Zuko rushed to her side, bracing her against his warm body. Their eyes met briefly and Zuko found the answer he had been searching for.

Born and raised in a realm between spirit and mortal, she was raised to fight darkness in the absence of the avatar in his 100-year-dissapearance. With the fire nation invading and spreading corruption and darkness, a small society served the light spirit, Raava. The avatar spirit. Konorei's fate was intertwined with the Avatar since birth, and she was held up as a spiritbender prodigy. A warrior of the light. But, that all changed when the fire nation attacked. Suddenly, she's the only one of her kind left, and so she sets off, and ends up joining team Avatar. 'Konorei scanned the room as she sat down, as if she were analyzing all of the people around the table, checking their auras and such. When her eyes landed on Toph, and she really looked at her, she paused, almost as if she were seeing something in the reflection of the other's eyes. Toph had noticed a shift in the girl's heartbeat, but didn't comment on it. It was probably nothing.'

"Water. Earth. Fire. Air. My grandmother used to tell me stories about the old days, a time of peace when the Avatar kept balance between the Water Tribes, Earth Kingdom, Fire Nation, and Air Nomads. Ceres is Aang's older sister and his Protector. She has a sworn duty to protect the Avatar no matter what. However when Aang runs away from the the Southern Air Temple she chases after him, trying to get him back. But they were both caught in a horrible storm and were frozen in ice for 100 years. When they awoke they find themselves in a world of war. And with the help of two Watertribe companions Katara and Sokka. They fight to bring the world back to peace.

The four nations of the world once lived in harmony, with the Avatar, master of all four elements, keeping peace between them. But everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked and wiped out the Air Nomads, the first step taken by the firebenders towards conquering the world. As the world is at war, Suhara, a runaway thought to be deceased prince of the Fire Nation ran away from his home with the company of the last dragon, Ghidora, his fire bending teacher. He journeys to aid the Earth Kingdom Fire Nation secrets of attack. But he retreats to the South Pole to hide from the war in hopes he can live peaceful and most definily hope... To find the Avatar and restore balance.

Kiyan never expected to be the Avatar. And now that she is, she's finding she never even wanted to be. She's used to her old life as a simple waterbender, with no great spiritual burdens or destinies or whatever nonsense this Avatar business has suddenly forced on her. Now, she's constantly on the run from the crazy lunatics who murdered the last two Avatars, and who've made it their mission to end the Cycle entirely. In an attempt to finally get her out of their reach, her protectors decide that a time machine is the way to go, and send her back to 130AG, to Republic City to seek mentoring from Avatar Aang himself. There's just one tiny problem. She's thirty years off target. Kiyan decides to wait out the end of the Hundred Years War in a little Earth Kingdom village with the family who's been kind enough to take her in. After all, she's safe there, and she never asked for this whole Avatar deal anyway. Unfortunately, fate has other plans, and her masterful strategy for avoiding danger is thrown into chaos with the arrival of a familiar scarred swordsman. Maybe she was born from a world where the benders were just fiction. Maybe she was afraid to love anything in this new world. Afraid to hope for anything more. But she definitely was Mai's younger sister, and she definitely couldn't sit out of the plot of the last airbender.

There is an old folklore about the Children of the Forest. They were mortal spirits who were the First Benders with the ability to travel freely to the spirit world and to the human realm. Each with their own element of air, water, earth and fire. They were one with their elemental animals and travelled the spirit and human realm freely. Fire Lord Azulon was one of the very few humans aware that this folklore was more than a mere legend, although slightly altered, but factual. He sought out dragons and in one of his searches he found a Child of the Forest with a Fire Element by sheer unfortunate luck and after defeating her, he imprisoned her. (Y/N) was seen as the key object of victory within the Fire Nation and a driving force of power to their legacy and supremacy but to Zuko she was not a weapon of mass destruction or a spirit creature; she was so much more. As the Sozins Comet approaches and the Avatar Aang prepares to face Firelord Ozai with the help of his friends, it's clear that Zuko and (Y/N)'s paths are more far apart than they know.
