Fire is deadly and can leave a path of destruction along the way, fire can scar. But so can Water. Like Fire, water can freeze into ice and can leave many cuts and scars. Both can be deadly when misused. Water and Fire can't be too different. Or are they? Zuko is a fire bender, but not just any fire bender he is the son of the fire lord. Kadia is a water bender, the daughter of the village Chief. When events lead to Kadia being captured by the fire nation Prince she realises that although Fire and Water are often referred to as opposites, they might not be so different after all. Kadia learns to realises that the many lessons she learnt growing up where nothing but prejudice. Or where they? Can she get over her emotional scars and learn to heal? Or was everything she witnessed an elaborate act all along made by the fire prince and his uncle? An act to trick her in letting her guard down and betray her siblings and the Avatar. Will she be able to trust again or does this scar run too deep to heal? Some timeline things have been moved to reflect this. Kya's death, Lu Ten's death, and Zuko's banishment all happen two years before they did in canon. The Fire Nation ship at the South Pole was also stranded much later in this story. I don't own Avatar the Last Airbender or any of it's characters/ideas.

The unofficial novelization of Iroh and Zuko's journey, based off both the animated and Netflix live actions versions of Avatar: The Last Airbender with a few of the author's own ideas mixed in. Told in third person alternating POVs-Zuko and Iroh's. Prince Zuko thought he was impressing his father by speaking up for the forty-first division in the war chamber. Instead, his father gives him a scar and a new destiny. Iroh thought he was simply allowing the prince into the war chamber to learn the inner workings of leadership. Instead, he's sent on a mission with the banished prince and forced to find a new destiny.

"Going somewhere?" I rolled my eyes at his comment. "Well, yeah. I'm being held against my will by a bunch of fire nation bad guys. Can you really blame me?" He then grabs my arm and walks me back inside his room keeping the door open. He then sits me onto his bed and stands a few feet back. "Why am I here? Shouldn't I be locked up in a dungeon or whatever." "I want to know how you got to the south pole. I have been sailing these waters for the past 2 years and I have never come across fire nation boats in these waters." "Well that's because I was born here. Well, I think I was." His face wasn't angry anymore. It was more of a curiosity rather than anger. "I was abandoned by my parents in the south pole when I was just a baby, but the chief of the southern water tribe took me in and raised me. But ever since my fire bending arrived, I've been the one person everyone is afraid of." His face became puzzled when I mentioned the last part. "You firebenders have a bad reputation, you do know that, right?" He ignores my comment and starts walking closer to me until he is inches away from my face. My cheeks flushed due to how close our faces were as I stared into his amber eyes. Even with that huge scar on his face, he was still an attractive boy. Ugh what are you thinking Kai! Get it together! He's the enemy! He reaches around my back and cuts the rope, setting my hands free and then backs away again. I stand up looking at him with confusion. He simply just reaches out his hand. "I'm Zuko." I looked down at his hand and hesitated. After a few seconds, I took his hand and shook it. "Kai."

Zyanya lost her family and is left roaming along the earth kingdom, she then crosses paths with Zuko prince of the fire nation, when he learns how strong and gifted she is zuko decides to keep her with him to help him with his chase after the avatar Zyanya joins zuko in hopes of finding the avatar to help him succeed meaning the feeling she has grown for zuko will have to be put aside in order to fulfill a part or her destiny; To help the avatar Save the world

This story follows a young boy name Akihito Kakeru. The story Takes place a few hundred years after Korra, and no he is not the new avatar.... He is just a boy that was born a fire and water bender.... A dual bender.... The world has drastically changed after the death of Korra and then later on the world and spirit world, became unbalanced, and not having a avatar for a few hundred years messed with it as well creating dual benders... Not everyone is dual benders. There are still more single element benders, and also non-benders. When he was just a child, his mother quickly discovered that he was a dual bender to protect him because he was a rare dual bender and she feared his safety she decided to keep it a secret from everyone including him.... So follow Aki on his journey to discover that he is a dual bender... and maybe he could find a new avatar if they do exist on his journey, and also will he get away from his abusive father?...
