Fire was an element that either commanded respect or consumed fear. Aelita Kenshin had experienced both feelings during her sixteen years of life. As the Avatar must be born, raised, and trained the force must train to serve as peacekeepers during the intermission of the Avatar's reign. The children and teenagers move away from their home nation to Shentong Academy, a bending academy for prodigious benders, located on a small desolate island of the coast of Republic City. The best masters alive will train and equip the benders with the abilities necessary to protect and serve. The school is flooded with powerful, passionate teenagers. Remihn knows that he can never live up to the legacy of the Avatars who lived before him. He can barely bend small rocks and sparks of fire, no signs of water or air bending has even emerged. Living on the streets all his life, with his best friend, and skilled firebender, Anozu, he knows he can't hide forever, but can he? An organization, with the use of hypnosis, is out to control all the benders in Republic city, and soon, to get ahold of the Avatar himself. Remihn must emerge from the shadows, learn bending, and save the world before it becomes too late.

This story takes place twenty years after the end of The Legend Of Korra television show and in my honest opinion is the direction the show should be taken in, you know if they hadn't ended the series. Anyway in this story Korra and Asami are partners and live together with their adopted son Ricky Sato who was taken in by Korra and Asami after his parents abandoned him at a very young age. One day Korra disappears and goes missing for weeks, Ricky takes it upon himself to find her thus begins an adventure he never could of dreamed of. But he's not alone, together with a waterbending pirate, Earth/Metalbending detective and airbending spy they form the new Team Avatar.
