Hestia is one of many unfortunate children born during the war. Her parents were also victims of the war. At nine, Hestia is orphaned with no known family to claim her. When she thinks she's all alone and will grow up to be nothing, the Fire Lady Ursa, also an old friend of her mother's, suddenly appears, takes her under her wing, and promises her a life that will be better than it ever was.
