One day Team Natsu had decided to take a dangerous job to fight a beast. The beast turned out to be a ton stronger than it was described as. It almost killed Lucy but Natsu took the hit instead trying to save her so he was the one who almost died. Lucy was so caught up about it she left the guild. She left to train but she didn't know she would meet a dragon. She'd be gone for 5 years in the dragon realm to train. When she comes back what will happen? One day Natsu and Happy decide to take Lucy on a mission but then something goes wrong, totally wrong. While they were on there mission no one knew that Lucy was being effected by some sort of magic. As days past by she started acting strange for some reason, Natsu and Happy were worried about her but no one knew what was happening to her but then one day she decided to go to the doctors. She couldn't believe what they have told her, she was going to die, fast. Something is killing her but not even the greatest doctors knew what was wrong with her. Lucy Heartfilia was just an ordinary Celestial wizard until some changes happened to her but then suddenly she was found walking around the Guild but something was odd about her.

Similar to the Curse of Contradiction, which was harbored by the black wizard Zeref and the fairy tactician Mavis, is the Curse of Compassion. As punishment for falling in love with the black wizard, Mikal is cursed; the more she falls in love with someone, the more pain will be inflicted by her touch. By mere coincidence, Mikal meets Rogue Cheney, a Sabertooth member in Fiore. After deciding to join the guild, Mikal soon realizes she's falling hard for the shadow dragon slayer.
