The student exchange program for the inhabitants of the continent of Ninji has chosen nine transfer students from Konoha for the program. Three of these Konoha transfer students will make decisions that will change the fate of two continents. Naruto enrolls in the Golden Deer and, for the first time, experiences belonging. He finds himself confused about what he truly wants after meeting Dorothea and Ingrid, and his life changes as he discovers what love is. Hinata enrolls in the Black Eagles and, for the first time, has others believe in her. She finally feels free to pursue her greatest desires without her clan's judgment. Sasuke is reunited with a dear friend he departed from five years ago, and feelings he had buried for years resurface. Byleth Eisner reunites with a friend who doesn't see him as a freak, but he struggles to understand the feelings of love. The house leaders-Dimitri, Claude, and Edelgard-unknowingly impact certain members of the Konoha transfers, changing their lives forever. With two continents, each possessing different cultures, decisions are made that will alter how their new and old friends view the world. This is a rewrite of my original story, "The Black Lion."

Dimitri keeps his thoughts about Claude to himself, though Ingrid, Felix, and Sylvain could see straight past it. Byleth thinks Claude has interest in her, but in reality, she's just the new professor to him. After all, he has no reason to go after someone that didn't even choose his house. Edelgard is head over heels for Byleth, and all the Black Eagles could tell. She just doesn't know it herself. Upon a new discovery of ancient technology, all these situations slowly become more and more obvious. Who would expect the four Divine Beasts to rise again?

"Yes, it's on. See that blinking light?" a pigged-tailed girl explained before pacing over and crouching down into the camera's view. "Come on, I'm short on time! Let's do this!" A few fighters cluttered the camera, and with the click of a record button, the young elf boy chirped, throwing out his arms in excitement. "Hello, I'm Young Link, and welcome to the super duper cool and awesome Smash Bros Mansion!!" "It's Ness! Here, we document the crazy and hectic life of us fighters..." Ness piggybacked and drew closer to the camera, putting his hands on it... "And trust me... It gets pre-tty crazy..." A flat pitch black man with a gray outline was behind the camera, and he panned the camcorder over to a smitten couple who held each other. One shrieked and became frantic once he realized they were being filmed, and the other boy in blue glanced at the camera as well, but his teal eyes narrowed. "awh~ look~!" he cooed while holding the blond's flustered cheeks, leaning foward "Kiss cam, baby, pucker up~!" "a-ACK!! mARTH, SOME D-DECENCY!!" The camera panned again... A dark blue-haired man with a red cape tossed down two cards. "Draw four." A blond boy with a pompadour clamored, disgruntled, with a handful of cards in hand. "IkE! YOU CAN'T DO THAT !!" "Do what?" he shrugged. The boy ruffled his hair frazzled. "YOu can'T STACK CARDs LIke THAt!!" "I can and I did, Lucas." He tossed down two more. "Draw 8" The camera panned backed to the main cast. "As you can see..." Ness started, "We've got lots to tell. SO! Join us in our shenanigans and slice of life, you won't regret it!" Everyone either struck a pose or waved goodbye. "Peace from the smash mansion!"
