It's a story where Delilah; the wife of a fireman named Oliver loses her husband to the 9/11 attacks. The story is romantic in the beginning, but ends in tragedy. At 8:45 am flight 11 hit the first tower, then 18 minutes later at 9:03 am flight 175 (both flights from Boston) hit the second tower. Then 9:37 Flight 77 crashes into The Pentagon. Shortly after the Pentagon was hit; at 9:59 am the South Tower collapsed, and at 10:07 flight 93 was crashed into a field in Pennsylvania. 10:28 the North tower collapses. This killed 343 fireman, 60 police officers, and Eight paramedics. A total of 2,753 people were killed on this day that will forever be in infamy.

Glacier Park is getting busy as the approaching summer melts the snow and brings tourists. Though the Glacier Park Air Attack team is understaffed and on a budget, they still save lives every week. Hawk, the newest of the crew, goes missing in what was supposed to be a routine night fire. No one has contact with him, and he is feared dead. With no contact methods and time ticking, the team starts to lose hope as they comb the one thousand square mile park to no avail.

Katlin is living her dream as a Helitak Foreman, in Yellowstone National Park, but for one thing. For two decades, she's searched for the one that got a away. A young pilot she was desparately in love with when she was 19. She knows that someday she will find him, but is giving up hope, when he walks back into her world, as a volunteer Army Blackhawk pilot, during the worst fires Yellowstone has ever seen. Can they clear up the past and start new? Is the spark still there or is he happily married by now? This is my first shot at a full-sized novel. This is an adult read and is semi-autobiographical. Kat and Michael are real (names changed) and so are the stories about their life in Ft Rucker, AL (to the best of my memory, anyway). Tony Becker, from Tour of Duty, is pretty much a ringer for a younger Michael. Tony has the same piercing blue eyes as "Michael". The background story, of the Yellowstone fire is also true, although it happened in 1988. Whenever you see a date, this is fact pulled from various sources, news, briefings, and personal accounts. I tried to give you some history on the fire and tried to portray Helitak for what they truly are. There are firefighters, hot shots, smoke jumpers and Helitak. Little is written about them, so I did my best. In the same city Armin works as a Paramedic , responding to the same calls as her. Some chapters will just be one shots of random calls, but most will be following a story. FD Prints has been busy gearing up and attending our first show in Allentown, PA. The Union Historical Fire Society hosted their annual Spring Melt at the Agri-Plex - Allentown Fairgrounds which offers the largest fire memorabilia auction and marketplace. FD Prints was one of over 250 vendors, including fire antiques, fire toys, fire apparatus parts and used fire equipment. FD Prints presented many exciting, colorful and unique designs which make the perfect firefighter gift poster. We met some great people, including collectors, volunteers, active duty, chiefs, retired firefighters and many others. The show was a success for our first time displaying our designs at a live event.

Being a firefighter is not a choice but a calling. Not a lot of people can do what we do. We don't do it for money and we are no hero but we well be there in your tragic time.
