Earth has always been the centre. The Norse knew it, but the world of man forgot. The Gods dwell above and the Dwarves and Demons below and the Elves and Giants share our level on the World Tree. Our world now known as Earth has a much older name, Midgar, the middle world connecting the 9 worlds, but we forgot, the truth became legend and the legend became myth and slowly, the world just dismissed it as another story. That was what I thought, my sister's and brother too... Just finished University, ready to take on the world, our perceptions of the world were completely shattered...

That small belief on a tiny planet called Earth helped name one of the strongest Princesses in all of the nine realms. Princess Drisanna of Muspelheim: The Land of Fire, was what one would call, peculiar. She had fire giants and fire demons at her beck and call, ready and waiting for a command, yet she did not wish for the power of a throne. Her parents pressured her, her siblings taunted her, she had but one friend who was not to be trusted and of all things, she had a war to end all wars dawning upon her. So Drisanna did the only rational thing she could think of, faked her own death, ran to the great realm of Asgard, and changed her name and identity. What was meant to be an easy escape soon turned disastrous when a young Asgardian frost giant starts perusing the Princess now turned maid. Will everything go to planned, or will all go down in flames?

Ellie Jones was found in the burned remains of an apartment building, unharmed and unconscious. Ellie was found by two agents of SHIELD, and was brought to the Avengers tower. Unbeknownst to everybody, Loki would be arriving the same day, banished from Asgard for trying to take over Earth. Everybody except me, of course, because why would I be worried about a boring mortal? As I'm reading my book, I see everybody staring at me. I know that it is smart for them to not trust me, but my god. Your stares are making me uncomfortable, Lady Natasha. I try to shift into a more comfortable position, but give up after 5 minutes. "Can you stop staring at me?" I ask, glaring at Natasha. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Several minutes later, I'm sitting on a couch, my knees huddled to my chest. "You good?" Natasha says. I nod, trying to figure out who was in the room. I listen to the conversations going on around me, jumping from one to another. As I listen to Natasha's conversation, I hear the light footfalls of somebody trying to sneak through the room. I quietly and slowly get up, following the sound of the footsteps. I hear them falter, then stop altogether. I swing my arms around me, trying to get my bearings when I smack the wall with my hand. "Hello?" I say. I listen, but only hear silence.
