Six towers. For some reason, Hollows Mountain Range decided it only needed six towers to watch over the entirety of the massive state park's terrain. When the previous occupant of Tower Six disappears off of the face of the earth, a replacement has to be found quickly. Maddie was supposed to be attending the prestigious medical school she worked her ass off to get into, instead, she found herself suspended one hundred feet up, watching over the mountains in the middle of fucking nowhere. Cell service is practically nonexistent, you have a better chance seeing a pig fly than having your text glow blue, instead of green. Company comes in an old-fashioned radio system connected to the neighboring tower: Tower 5. The tower's occupant, Harry, is overly talkative when it comes to new faces, it must be nice to have a tower neighbor, again, after the last one left. Things are going smoothly, until Maddie finds scratches on her door. Some psycho keeps leaving things beside her tower's entrance. Bones. Ruined articles of clothing. The feeling of being watched is suddenly making it hard to sleep, and the noises outside, don't help. It's not until someone, no, something? Whatever it is-it wakes her up, crashing its fists against the fragile windows. Maddie runs, she runs all four miles to the next closest "safe" haven: tower five. They need to get help, now. This is only the surface of Hollow's Mountain Range. What could possibly be underneath?

Working as a fire watcher wasn't always the easiest job. Though, when there arrives a new recruit you're happy to have him by your side. He seems nice. Mark, is his name. And even though you two have to communicate through the walkie-talkie, he helps you solve the mystery. After a whole adventure with another unknown guest, you find the master mind behind this all. It has been six years since the 22,000+ acre fire, the forest and rangers have rebuilt, Delilah returned to Thorofare Tower, and a new ranger has opened up the door of Two Forks tower. An odd notebook reveals some sort of dark plan that neither ranger can quite comprehend, but it doesn't look good.

It is the Summer Holidays, Ashley has decided to work at fire lookout tower in a forest, in Nevada, to get some extra money for when she goes back to college, but something strange is going on in the woods...

Raven Reyes, the 23-years-old beauty from good ol' Chicago has taken a rather odd job on a fire lookout in the wilderness of Wyoming. It struck her eyes in a café she had been visiting for ages and a fresh start felt like a good plan. At least for the summer, just to get away from everything. So, Raven had rushed home with a ripped piece of paper that had a phone number on it. Apparently, the spot wasn't so popular, which meant a positive response for the doe-eyed brunette; she got the job! Long story short, Raven packed up the necessities she had been very vaguely described to bring with her. Water bottle, clothes, some books, her camera, pen and a notebook and sheets were all she could fit inside the pack. The woman on the phone had given Raven an address and told that a two days hike would be ahead of her as she would make her way from the bus stop to the lookout tower. More detailed instructions were to be given on the scene. ON THE WAY WE GO!

Something is lurking in the woods in Bedford County State Park This story was written as a challenge to myself to work on dialogue within a short character limit. I think it turned out pretty well

(FireWatch & GravityFalls crossover) Dipper Pines needed an escape. He was trapped in a tragedy over his head after the loss of a life time. He took up the job in a remote, far off town by the name of Gravity Falls, a eternity away from his problems. His job is simple. Watch out for fires. He's alone. Or he thought he was going to be. There's his supervisor and fellow watchman. The mysterious voice through a radio. A far off man in a far off tower sits and watches and waits. Everyone has a reason for coming to Gravity Falls. What's his? Not really BillDip, hinted if you squint, but more friend-shipping.

When Tyler needed an escape from his very busy, fast-paced, overwhelming life in New York City, he jumped at the opportunity to fill in as a fire look out at one of the fire watch towers in Washington State. However, as much as he needed a break from the loud and suffocating life that was filled with expectations in the city, he underestimated the immense solitude and loneliness that came with being a fire look out. Luckily, an unexpected static voice was there to keep him sane. (a short Joshler story!)
