Leafy is a twelve-year-old girl living in poverty. Her mother, Lucy, is a tidy, stern woman. She wants the best for her family, but struggles to make a living for them. Her father, Leo, is a hard-working, intelligent man who tries to support the family, but struggles alongside his wife. Leafy wishes that she lived a life similar to the others around her neighborhood. Carefree, full of money, and full of friends. She struggled to make friends because she was forced to remain in homeschool for many reasons, one being that her mother was afraid of how others would view her. With the struggles of poverty and being the "perfect daughter", Leafy faces a lot of challenges throughout her childhood. She never thought she would make any friends until the day her mother forced her to go out and show off her "fancy outfit." She met the handsomest boy of her dreams, and she knew that they would go far. A rich boy and a poor girl, who would've known that it was meant to be.

Leafy is in a rock band with her friends: Teardrop, and Pin! They're starting to notice strange behavior coming from this new guy they had just met recently. Their lead singer, Leafy felt like she was getting watched by somebody ever since her band met this odd guy.. 💬‼️ : None of the gross stuff any characters have done in this fanfiction is glorified or romanticized in any kind of way. (The tags relating to fireafy [fireyxleafy, leafyxfirey, fireafy] are just used to gain more attention, this absolutely NOT fireafy at all. Sorry fireafy fanfic lovers!)

He had just graduated middle school and is already trying to look for a girl he could at least like- maybe even LOVE. Firey's always having dreams of hanging out with his future girlfriend.. Not many people consider him as attractive.. but Leafy Evergreen sure does! Leafy has been crushing on him since 4th grade, a year after they became friends. Impressive how she's been able to keep her secret away from him for 5 years. Will their feelings ever be confessed? "It takes time.." This is humanized! The only one working hard to find Leafy is Firey, (Fiery?? Whatever-)even though he's still a bit upset that Leafy stole his Dream Island. He still wants to find Leafy, but even if he finds her, will he still remember her? ----------------------------------- This story goes from angst to fluff so...yeah

For the time being, this story is cancelled, and I'm considering rebooting it in the future. (IMPORTANT NOTES: Characters in this story are given Japanese human names, and use their canon names when they transform. A new school year is starting, and Hana isn't all that excited. During the previous years, she built up a reputation for herself as a mean girl, and she's having trouble shedding that reputation, despite genuinely trying to change her ways. Her only real friends are Homura, a boy in her grade, and Akane, her girlfriend. Amongst all the guilt of her past and her current loneliness, she feels like she can't do anything right. Suddenly, though, everything changes when Hana meets two strange non-human figures that can change form. They tell her that she's actually Dream Flower, one of the Dream Guardians of a distant land called Dream Island. When she transforms into Flower, she is able to harness magical powers- but she also has a destiny given to her by the universe, and with that destiny comes a heavy responsibility. Although it takes a while for Hana to adjust to this whole other secret, powerful side of herself, she knows she must devote herself to her duty. She must find the other Dream Guardians and awaken their powers, some of whom being complete strangers, and some being unexpected familiar faces. Meanwhile, a dark force looms over Dream Island, threatening to take over and bring about a horrible era of discord and agony. Can Dream Flower and the other Dream Guardians stop this force before it's too late?

In a twist of what happened after BFB 15, all the contestants kill Leafy after finding out she stole Dream Island, much to Firey's Despair, for he wanted to apologize to Leafy and tell her that he loved her. Despair turns to hatred and Firey becomes a killer.

Leafy truly misses her old friend Firey, hopefully writing an apology letter with help sort things out between them. (The title is a lyric from Spark by Beach House)

One day Firey realizes that Leafy is in a relationship with Gelatin!! What will he do to win her over?
