When a ship arrives in the harbour of Terim with the insignia of Galbatorix, Queen Nasuada sends a contingent of soldiers to find out the truth behind some bizarre rumours...the Galbatorix's son is returning to Alagaësia.

Essentially, this is what I think a shorter sequel to the book Inheritance should be. Contains Arya/Eragon and Saphira/Fírnen and may or may not include children thereof. Will talk some about the new Rider school and just other, basic stuff in the books that I think ended up as loose ends. Enjoy ;).

It's 132 years after the fall of Galbatorix, and the Riders are finally returning. A young girl sees a thunder of dragons flying overhead whilst out playing with her friends, and knows exactly what she wants to be. Ten years on, she still possesses that wish. Despite the wishes of her overly-controlling father, she sneaks out to the Egg Ceremony - and all hell breaks loose.

Valeria has always been the odd one out, being half elf and half human she has never managed to fit in. But after an extraordinary event where a dragon hatches for her she embarks on an adventure filled with happiness, triumph and difficulty. While adjusting to her new reality can the newest dragon rider navigate the rocky road to love?

This poem is based on Christopher Paolini's Inheritance book. It is the fourth and for the time being the last book of the inheritance cycle. It is based on Arya's feelings after the end. I met Christopher on 11/06/2012, a mere three weeks after writing and posting this poem here. I never believed I would meet him. Eragon will never come back to Alagaesia, but he wishes he could. Arya secretly loves Eragon, but she turned down his suit. Eragon lives far away on the other side of the world, and Arya lives in Du Weldenvarden. Arya has to fulfill her position as queen of the Elves, and Eragon as a Dragon Rider. Däralekk is a grey elf, the most powerful species known to the inhabitants of Alagaësia. This book will overlap with the fourth book slightly, however it is mainly my idea as I have twisted the ending of the last book (Inheritance).
