*****I am currently writing this book....I am a perfectionist, so I doubt I will be uploading chapter by chapter, as I keep going back to read/update and change things! The sun was sat high in the sky, casting a warm, bright glow over the festivities and laughter echoing through the air. The melodic music was staying strong, with not one person seeming to miss a beat of a drum, a strum or pluck of their string. Children's faces were smeared with sticky remnants of the delightful confections, their laughter punctuating the early afternoon as they played games of tag and hide-and-seek. The sweet, sugar-coated, scrumptious smell of home baked treats and cakes wafted through the animated crowd; partly thanks to the Roseworns. Their small stall of freshly baked goods was a winning hit. Sadly, the same could not be spoken of the O'Tarrenn family, they were far-from swamped with business, with the odd look from passers by, or the occasional purchase of a Grodlem snapper, Muckfish or Cristland carp. A sullen Anya O'Tarrenn watched the scene with a heavy heart, her empty eyes tracing the path of the revellers as they passed by without so much as a second glance. She couldn't help but feel a pang of envy towards the Roseworns, whose stall seemed to attract a never-ending stream of happy customers.
