Emily Barnes is Bucky Barnes twin sister and is also best friends with Steve Rogers. She has loved Steve ever since she was a little girl. She gets into the army as an agent. Dr. Erskine chooses her to be a super-soldier alongside Steve. Over the years she finds her feelings for Steve growing. This book takes place during the Captain America: The First Avenger, Avengers, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers Infinity War, and Avengers Endgame films.

One of the best nurses, in fact, you had worked with many different cases such as torn limbs, disease, bullet wounds, and many others. Before you met Steve, Bucky talked about him 24/7 and talked about how you two would be great friends. Finally, you had the chance to meet him at the World's Exposition of Tomorrow, but you have to go as his date, which you didn't really mind, although it would probably be awkward. But little did you know, Steve actually had a crush on you, even without having met you. It's a long haul as the War Bonds tour pushes forward. Even longer as Steve comes to terms with all of her secrets and she begins to seek him out.
