The programme was fronted by Billionaire playboy Howard Stark. His assistants Lt Peggy Carter and her sister Alice Carter. What happens when it all goes wrong? What happens when the super soldier is put on ice?

It wasn't normal to see a girl in the military. As far as I knew the only girl, excuse me woman, was Peggy Carter. It had always been my dream to join the army and I did it. Finally. I ended up in the same unit as Steve Rogers and James Buchanan Barnes. Being a soldier wasn't exactly what I expected tho... I decided to write this story because I've always wanted to join the army myself, but I can't and I love Captain America. The story is based on Captain America: the first Avenger, but I changed it up a bit. I hope you enjoy the story and feedback is appreciated!

One year after Bucky Barnes willingly went into cryo, and his release from Hydra's mental games, Steve Rogers has done nothing but wait for his best buddy. Practically ditching the Avengers, Steve has dropped his title all for the sake of living a normal life and spending his days teaching Bucky how to use modern household items, as well as trying all he can to trigger his friend's memory. Steve was prepared to be let down every time Bucky wouldn't remember something, and he was prepared to spend the rest of his days with his friend, but what he wasn't prepared for were the emotions which followed, and the way he was beginning to fall for James Buchanan Barnes.

Jessica "Jessie" Barnes is the 5 year younger sister of the one and only James "Bucky" Barnes. She got on well with her brother and Steve until the tragic happened and both her brother and brother figure were reported dead... only to be reunited one day
