"I was thinking about you," He said, flipping through the dictionary. "Oh really?" I replied playfully, smiling and sitting next to him. "Yes really." He said, looking at me, his bright blue eyes resting on my silvery-blue ones. Honestly, I will never get over how blue his eyes are. "As I was flipping through the dictionary yesterday, I came across a word that reminded me of you." He stopped on a page, and I leaned forward, scanning it. "Ethereal." "Ethereal?" I asked, wondering what the beautiful word meant. "Its an adjective. It means light in a way that seems too perfect for this world." He explained, and I felt myself blush. "Your gift is incredible Sky." He whispered softly, and I looked down, not sure how to respond. "Show me again please." He said taking my hand. I concentrated hard on the lamp that was dimly lighting the room, and felt myself pull it's light towards me. A ball of light soon rested in my hands. I controlled it, twirling it around my fingers and up my arm. Light seemed like it was nothing, but it was strong. It could move mountains. Without it, an entire planet would be lost. I wish all of my gifts were a s beautiful as this one, but to balance out light, you need darkness. _______________________________ Sky Reynolds has been alone for most of her life, and when she receives a call saying that someone wants her to come work for the CIA, she is surprised. It turns out a childhood friend of hers, Hank McCoy, has gotten her a job as his assistant, if she wants it of course. After a very convincing speech from Hank, she accepts, and travels to Washington D.C. to start her new life. On her first day there, she is met by people with extraordinary gifts, like shape changing and telepathy. People like her.

Her love life is not the best, because instead of being full of love, it's full of manipulative tactics to take advantage of her wealth. "Hey! Whats your name?" The unknown woman asks. "Huh? Oh, Lorenzo." Lorenzo responds. "Well, my name is Ava. Thanks for helping me with that psycho old woman. How about I treat you to dinner? How 'bout it?" Ava suggests.
