With her intent set on gaining a new perspective, Asilin decides to visits a self proclaimed psychic. The reading more than upsets Asilin when it is predicted something in her near future won't go as planed and she is advised to leave town. A series of events forces Asilin to choose either to stand her ground and ignore the warnings or run and seek refuge.

When she turned up empty, she looked back at the room to the dresser. There, sitting on it, was a small gift box. It was wrapped in red paper, with a little red bow attached to it. June checked for fingerprints, and when she found none, she opened up the wrapping, then the actual box. Inside was a diamond ring shimmering like a thousand crystals. But, underneath it, was a note.
