Setting: wild west + magic An attempt at flash fiction about a man trying to escape his captors. (Note: It is a part of a greater world filled with magic and old/ancient cultures from the human history and other made up cultures. including but not limited to wild west, vikings, samurai, old china, roman empire, ancient Egypt, middle ages, etc...)

this story is about a girl who lives in a town, just miles away from a desert, her psychologist told her to write about her life so that's what she does. this is somewhat of an interpretation of the "Welcome to Night Vale" but seen from the outside. where a teen lives close to Night Vale and writes of the strange happenings that occur in her town because of Night Vale. she doesn't believe there is anything in the desert though. or...does she?
