This is a story about a transgender person. This is a first story I written and it will have lots of words to most likely improve. The main character deals a bit with body dysphoria. The story line is short. So enjoy? Please write down anything that can help me improve!

What happens when a letter never reaches its king? In a kingdom ruled by a maddened monarch, one letter-meant to speak truths, hopes, or warnings-gets stopped in its tracks. Words cut short, intentions left unspoken, and a story that unfolds in the space between what is written and what is left unsent. A tale of missed connections, quiet rebellion, and the power of a single, unfinished letter.

"The world ended. We didn't." The infection managed to kill 41% of the world's population of children 18 and under before the governments and world leaders came together, dumping billions of dollars into research for a cure, miraculously found in under a year. Those over 18 were asymptomatic to the disease, and only about 0.3% of the adult population ended up getting the vaccine, whether it be conspiracy nuts or scientists, while it was obligatory for the children and every newborn since to be vaccinated in fear of another outbreak. Eight years later, unbeknownst to the remaining population, the virus has mutated and evolved, but the past vaccine has still protected those who got it. However, the ones left behind have been turned into mindless, flesh-craving monsters who roam the streets. After being separated from her group as they escape their old school, Mack tracks her her friends across decimated California, encountering more enemies than allies as she attempts to find and reunite with them. Meanwhile, her friends have been clashing with others groups as well. Yet everything is changing, and the line between right and wrong begins to blur. People's masks slide off, and those who may have been your best friend are now willing to kill you if it helps themselves, or people are simply crazy, going around murdering others as they take joy in the lawless new society. Because at the end of the world, the only thing more dangerous than what's out there... is who you become. Attempting to tell it from 4 POVs or more. help
