This is a non fiction story about the murder of my nephew during a mass shooting in 2021 in Tucson, AZ. The story is written from my perspective of the events of that day and the aftermath that followed. My hope is that his story will not fade and to possibly help others dealing with loss. The world stands still when the super volcano known as Yellowstone explodes and now a smoldering pyroclastic flow is sweeping across the continental US. An SFFD (San Francisco Fire Department) firefighter hears that the flow will destroy the entire West Coast of the United States killing all life. Wanting to make up for what he did he decides to risk it all and race to make up with his ex-girlfriend in Los Angeles.
