Isaac moved to Belgium in March 2022 (due to the beginning of the war in Russia) and couldn't attend school due to his lack of knowledge of French or Flemish, he eventually had to lose a year which led to him being a year older than his classmates. In the beginning of September 2022 he joins a French speaking school but logically has no friends. He talks to some, gets a couple of friends that helps him explore the new school and make his days a bit lighter. Finds an interesting activity to do out of school time that may or may not be a card club, which the young man, due to his passion toward card games, ends up joining. Not expecting to meet a boy that will make him question his own sexuality and over all, send him in an existential crisis.

In an alternate universe, Matthew never betrayed Rain. They became best friends and fought the Exobot War together. It was normal, even with the existence of aliens. All is nice and dandy... until of course, it wasn't. Wrapped in some world-wide conspiracy, Matthew don't even know who to trust anymore. Who's friend, who's foe.
