This is a book about an alternate history, in which a future story of mine will take place. I am not a Nazi, Fascist or Communist, my work does not support any of these ideologies either. Please comment what you think and give me your opinions. Note: some formatting is a bit fucked on mobile, so just watch out for that.

When Pierre arrives at the infamous Western Front, he discovers the true horrific conditions of Trench Warfare.

Emily Weston has disappeared from the real world and is stranded in a place called the Borderlands, another world where time does not exist and you cannot age or die. Although Emily is not alone, there is a small, dysfunctional community of mostly young and unique people like herself, except they come from the past, from different era’s in time and as it turns out two of them George Leighton and Luke Edensor are the “history boys” who she first met as a child. Emily has dreamed about this world her whole life and feels an irresistible connection to it; she is also drawn to the handsome but tortured First World War soldier Luke Edensor, the boy from her dreams who Emily is starting to fall in love with… However Emily does not want to forget her home and is also desperate to return to her life in Pennbrooke, worried about her vulnerable mum. And there might be a way home though only if Emily truly desires it and is strong enough to make the attempt. Although something is not quite right in the Borderlands, for in this seemingly, peaceful and idyllic world, someone has been watching Emily for a long time, a hidden danger growing in the shadows and a fate that has been awaiting Emily Weston from the moment she arrived in this world. Will Emily be able to unlock the mystery surrounding her childhood meeting with Luke Edensor and discover the truth about their shared history? And will George, Luke and Emily be timeless forever or will the three of them be able to find a way to leave the Borderlands and discover abilities within themselves beyond their imaginings? Though even in a timeless world time is running out for Emily and her friends who must decide whether or not to make a stand and fight for their existence. Though ultimately torn between two worlds will Emily Weston be able to return to her own time and leave Luke Edensor behind forever?

I have been given an assignment for school to write a short story about war. This is what I wrote so far but I would appreciate some ideas as I don't know what to write next. Read on :) xx

Seventeen year old Emily “Emmie” Weston has always lived in two worlds; the real one and the other one inside her head. Although Emily who is an outsider and hides her true romantic nature behind a sarcastic front always secretly believed that this other world, once glimpsed through a “doorway” as a little girl was just as real. And it’s becoming more real, pushing her away from her parents and friends, breaking through into her everyday life the older she gets, along with the supposed inhabitants of this world, a mysterious silver lady and the ghostly “history boys” two young men who look like they lived a hundred years ago. Though it’s the handsome one with the sad, brown eyes who has always haunted Emily’s dreams, alienating her from the boys who live in the same, claustrophobic, sleepy village of Pennbrooke. The home that Emily is intensely attached to even though at times she longs to leave it all behind. Though just supposing you become so disconnected from your own life and everyone around you that one day you somehow manage to leave the world behind and find yourself in the silent, empty place of your dreams. In a world that Emily has dreamed about all her life, at times longed to be in and now finds herself wandering lost in. Emily is desperately searching for answers though cannot anticipate the adventures, the awakening of her heart and the hidden danger that await her in this dreamlike land. Though as much as Emily Weston feels connected to this other world, will she ever be able to find her way home? (beginning of diary 1901-end of diary 1914) This is a short story,the diary of a soldier from the British army named Charles.He starts writing in his diary when queen Victoria dies,the start of the Edwardian Era.Everything he writes in his diary happens during the Edwardian era and the end takes place at the beginning of World War 1.It's an open ending,which lets the readers decide whatever they want about it.
