Makoto Tachibana is off to college in Tokyo training to be a swim coach. Naigsa Hazuki, Rei Ryugazaki and Gou Matsuoka are still running the swim club and recruiting new members at Iwatobi High School. Aiichiro Nitori has now been promoted to captain of the Samezuka swim team. Rin Matsuoka and Haruka Nanase train for Olympic class swimming. How will everyone react to the sudden changes to their regular and enjoyable lifestyles? Will Rin and Haru's friendship crash in a dire incident, or will it prevail?
