Dagur, Hiccup, and the gang all believed an old friend of theres to be dead. But when a mysterious rider who appears on a Dragon rescue mission one day, turns out to be that dead friend. They also find out their friend is allied with Viggo Grimborn and the rest of the Dragon hunters. Can Dagur and Hiccup bring them back to the good side or will they be lost forever? (This takes place between season 5 episdoe 10 and season 6 episode 8, but will not mention anything in the episodes)

A rider wearing a hood rode on a dragon. Following the Dragon Riders from Berk. Her Whistlewing was riding on a gust of wind, her wings straight and true. Gray and white scales on its body almost made the dragon vanish into the clouds. The wingtips had several patches of bluish green and black. The wind died down, no longer hiding the low whistle caused by the Whistlewing. One of the riders riding the Zippleback glanced up, easily spotting the wing markings. The leader, who was none other than Hiccup Haddock, raised his eyes, and his Night Fury locked eyes with both the rider and her Whistlewing. "So much for being subtle." The rider mumbled. Time to find out whether Whistlewing can outfly a Night Fury, Deadly Nadder, Zippleback, Monstrous Nightmare, and a Gronkle. Oh, Thor.

Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III has done the unspeakable- befriended a dragon. And having come first in Dragon-training, means that he now has to kill one. But Hiccup can't kill a dragon, so he plans to run away with his Night Fury, Toothless. When Astrid finds out about Toothless, Hiccup convinced her of the dragon's loyalty and they become friends. When she learns what Hiccup plans to do, she demands to come with him. After a lot of arguing, he eventually agrees, and they leave Berk that night, hoping never to return. 5 years later, Hiccup and Astrid have settled down on a new island known as "The Edge" and have a small child of their own. Their new lives are interrupted, however, when a certain group of teens and a blacksmith wash up on the shores of The Edge. A group of people they hoped never to see again. Hiccup has been to a Mental Institution for most of his life. He always tried to hurt himself and others, Hiccup had tried to kill himself once and that had led him to lose his left leg. Viggo Grimborn enjoys an intellectual challenge, and he found that in Hiccup. What he doesn't know, is a harder challenge is yet to come in the form of Clover and her dragon Lucky. Why? Because Clover is smart? No, oh gods no. Clover is oblivious, painfully oblivious. Eager to make friends, blind to danger with no sense of self preservation. Clover isn't smart, Clover is lucky. Being blessed by the gods, fate or whatever it may be, Clover narrowly avoids the worst at every turn, and Viggo can't make up or down of it. Is it because she's somehow smarter than him? You know when Hiccup goes to find Toothless in the cove after he finds out he has to kill Hookfang and Astrid follows him? Suppose Astrid never did follow him. Suppose Hiccup left Berk and never showed up the next morning to kill Hookfang. And he hadn't been seen for 5 years. Until now.

A mistake on a form, and the Thorston Twins' general lack of knowledge in regards to the human body, leads to a running joke at the expense of Hiccup and Astrid.
