This story's about a thirteen year old girl by the name of Abigail, a student of K.T.H.S. Kingston technical high school .She is what people call a house rat (a person who stay indoors and don't go out side ).She live with her mother, two big sister and a big brother so you can say she is the youngest out of all of them there father left when she was just three years old.Later in her li the abuse start, at school she is a part of a eight best friend clang her is her story.

I am Cassie. I was born with a gift. I can see the death of someone with the slightest touch. I was treated like I was a nobody. I tried to run away but I was dragged back to my sleepy little town. That changed when a young Tristan moved next door. He was nice to me despite the warnings from everyone. That changed the day he assaulted me. I waved my hand and he clutched his throat like I was choking him. This was when I forced him to tell me why everyone avoided me. He said that an evil entity came to rein terror and they killed it but the abilities it had transferred itself to me. I am the dark one.

She finally decides to take matters into her own hands as she makes some major decisions for her own good. However, even her own decisions can go downhill. Even in the most advanced, preppy places, there are the temptations of horrible, vile, evil individuals who will try bringing the brightest of lights down to a mere flicker...
