I never thought that I would be spending my summer holidays like this. Alone. Sitting on a park bench. Contemplating wether or not I should take my own life. And as the birds flew and the people passed, my thoughts got deeper and deeper, spiralling into a tornado of bad thoughts and depression. You see, I never used to be like this. I used to be a haply girl, full of life. But then something bad happened, something that no-one knows about, something that no-one will never know about. Except now.

The heat on this summer day was at a high. Humidity clung to her like a wet blanket. The stickiness would have been unpleasant, had it not been such an exciting day that Bradley had planned out. Her parents let her come to Baltimore. Alone. She wasn’t entirely alone, though. Her best friend Kaia was with her, and they were ready for an adventure. No adult supervision or control meant that anything could and will happen. Bradley just never expected THIS to happen. It's partly about her past struggle and her self-harm story. She doesn't do it anymore though.
