No, this isn't quite the story you're expecting... Five is a promising actor stuck in a creatively hollow role on a never-ending daytime romcom, while Lila is a florist with big dreams working in her parents' flower shop. Their carefully routine lives are thrown completely off balance thanks to a chaotic morning, a packed subway car, and an iced coffee that ends up all over a very expensive suit.

What if Lila and Diego actually sat down and talked things through - just the two of them - after she and Five found their way back? This isn't a story with easy resolutions. It's a look into the inner world of characters navigating complicated circumstances, connected by love, guilt, and a fragile sense of hope.

In one world, they sacrifice themselves to destroy branching timelines. In another world, sacrifices are made so that branching timelines could continue. Kind of weird and unfortunate for everyone involved. I think there's another option... and maybe that's the way to make things right for everyone. Here's an idea for a little crossover between the worlds of The Umbrella Academy and Loki. Major spoilers for both series. I recommend reading it if you know both stories, otherwise it could be quite confusing. But I will try to explain everything in the story as well. The main focus of the story is centered on Five, Lila and Diego as they deal with their situation. Finding a decent apartment wasn't easy, especially when you looked sixteen, maybe seventeen on a good day. Five might have had the mind of an old man, but landlords weren't exactly lining up to hand him a lease. Lila, on the other hand, wasn't thrilled about living alone, especially now that she was single and pregnant. Not just because she wasn't used to it, but because, in her current condition, she wanted it even less. And let's be honest, who in their right mind would willingly sign up for a crying baby in a few months? So, moving in together was the logical solution. Strictly temporary, of course. With no powers and a rebooted world to navigate, they had to start somewhere. How hard could it be?

Only this time, Five and Lila have been given another chance. A chance to try again... and maybe fix things just a little better.
