He and Ms. Izzy Pettibone, the tom-girl who stole his heart, have already discussed the issue of his leaving Avonlea, though Felix is unsure how Izzy truly feels about him leaving so suddenly, and for so long. Within such historic and tragic events as the Titanic, and the first world War, we see how Felix and Izzy's relationship blossoms, and how it is tested over this five-part continuation of Kevin Sullivan's beloved series, Road to Avonlea.
