Scarlette and Andy are soon fast friends, hanging with the band after school, even going on tour. But will something go wrong when Jinxx finds himself being jealous at the Mortician's Daughter?

This is a poem about my life and everyone else's life so I hope you like it.

They said that The First World War would be over by Christmas; but, which one? 'Rain Along the Fire-step' is a book set in 1917, within the back-drop of The 3rd Battle of Ypres or 'Passchendaele'. The book charts the experiences of six disparate, fictitious infantry-soldiers the three days preceding their ascent up various trench-ladders and out into the mud and blood of 'No Man's Land' to, in dwindling-hope, reach those verdant green-fields beyond. The Battle of Langemarck, near Ypres, was a real battle; but none of the 'poor bloody infantrymen' who fought in it, are now left alive to attest to its miserable blood-soaked drama. It is therefore sincerely hoped by the author, that through these six fictional characters, this book in some very-small way, could go towards honouring those soldiers who did fight and who could very-well have been them.
