The year was 1923, and the Roaring 20's were underway. Four years since the prohibition of alcohol has made it easier than ever to get, if you know the right place that is. Parties brought the great city of New York to life nightly, the blare of trumpets and snares of drums erupting into the cool air and coating the streets in chaotic bliss. We all know the RFA, but what if under a lovely and charitable meeting room was a roaring speakeasy? An era of danger and romance, growing out of the old normals of society. Rika and V decide to form a place for those to let go, funded by the rich Jumin Han and built up by the orphaned Choi twins, where will this style of life take the RFA?

"Promise?" "Promise." ___________________ Delia Mae King and Evalynne Harper Rose were born into high society families during the 1900s. Considering that, how would you think of their lives and families? Probably not the best. At least they had each other through it all. Delia is an extroverted, only child with big dreams to be on the silver screen. They're often impulsive and over protective of others, which as a combination don't lead to great choices. However she's loyal and would lose their mind if someone she loved were to disappear... Evalynne, unlike her counterpart, is the youngest of four total child and tends to act more reserved. She's a very book-smart girl and knows her way around the rules of standard high society, but she never handled day-to-day social cues. She has a history of hurting those she cares about and would do anything to undo the past... ______________________________________ Evalynne & Delia are DnD characters created by myself and a friend of mine (@0NovaSky0) for a 1925 style dungeons and dragons campaign. The two characters are tied at the hip and mirrored versions of each other in a many ways. However, things happened June 1st, 1923 that changed a few things for them... This fic is a collection of scenes and memories between them both from their childhood and their older years. Enjoy!

When Landon Edward meets Corinne at a jazz club, he is intrigued. She's not only a jazz dancer, but a flapper—and she epitomises the beauty Landon longs for. Bearing an uncanny resemblance to Viola, the woman Landon loved first, Corinne ventures into a romance with Landon. But when Landon discovers that she's bound to the man he's been desperate to arrest, Leland Collins, he must re-consider everything. When Viola abruptly starts to come back into Landon's life, she is a different woman. She isn't the jazz dancer Landon fell for—she is cold and ruthless, and she loves Leland. Landon must now orchestrate two arrests, dismantle Corinne's ties with Leland, and find himself once more amongst the bloody violence of Darlinghurst. Set between 1923—1924.

Desperate to escape their tiny Arkansas hometown and the dark scars and secrets of their past, four seventeen-year-old best friends make the decision to run away from Russellville and immerse themselves in the glamour and glitz of Prohibition-era New Orleans. Farrah Thornton was the eldest, the golden daughter of a preacher. Raised to be perfectly prim, she always felt caged in Arkansas. But the good-girl act won’t last long in New Orleans, especially once the whiskey hits her bloodstream. Jackelyn Steele was the rebel. All she wants to do is escape her abusive and drunkard father, as well as her life of poverty and equally miserable future. Her sneaky, ambitious nature will serve her well in “the City that Care Forgot”, but the people she meets might be just as horrible as the ones she ran away from. Eve Bartlett was the friendly one. The warmest and nicest of the girls, she holds them together through thick and thin, but has her own personal goals to experience the world as much as she can. Her desire to see everything the city has to offer and to support her fellow women in their struggle for rights, however, may very well drag her into hot water And then there was Lilith Clyde, the youngest and shyest of the group. Redheaded, freckled, and terribly insecure, Lilith let herself be walked over in Russellville. But with the salty air of the city comes a new feeling of power, and Lilith will do anything to get what she’s wanted her entire life – to see her name in lights. It was the age of Prohibition. The age of rumrunners, bootleggers, and moonshiners. The age of smoky speakeasies and the rise of jazz. It was the age of flappers and scandalously high hemlines. The age of red lipstick and sequins. The age of elegant cocktails and charming gangsters with their hats pulled down low. It was the age of love, whiskey, and cigarettes. And New Orleans was about to get wild.
