Barry Allen wasn't always the Flash. There was a time, before he became the vigilante, when he was perfectly happy with his life. Or as happy as you could be. He had a great job, amazing family, and a great girlfriend. Barry Allen and Elizabeth Thorne (Liz) had been together for two years before the Particle Accelator blew up. Barry had been put into a coma for months to follow. Liz didn't know how to continue going about as everything was ok. She had never gone more than a day without seeing Barry smile or hearing his voice. Barry wakes up 9 months later. But he can't seem to recognize the girl he loved with the one he is faced with now. He had to catch up with her again while he balanced his new alter ego. The Flash. **** The book will explore his relationship before and after the particle accelerator accident. You will also see how Liz and Barry grow together and navigate the life they are both thrown into. **** A/N I am not particularly fond of Barry and Iris as a couple hence this book. :) I just see it as strange and she will continue to be his sister throughout the book. Also, it will exist in the time frame of the show, but have its own drama and events occurring between my OC and Barry.
