His scanners revealed more than just Xenite. They detected Captain Freedom, a man whose power resonated like a god's. But Zyvarr wasn't looking for an enemy-he was looking for a ruler. She'd been there for three years straight, and she was getting tired of getting walked past. Nobody ever wanted anything to do with her. Why? Because she was a broken child. And nobody wants something that's broken. One lonely day, the day of the Particle Accelerator Explosion, was the day that everything changed. Getting bitten by a cat as the wave hit her, the girl never expected what she would turn into. A werecat. A heartless, murderous werecat that Tessa had no control over.
