Levitating Loneliness is a flash fiction story about a teenage boy named Jacob who can control rocks and pebbles with his mind. After the death of his parents, Jacob lives a lonely life in a group home where he feels invisible. But as dusk falls one evening, he discovers his unique ability to levitate rocks. He sends the rocks floating into the night sky as a call out to others who, like him, feel alone. Another boy materializes from the swarm of flying rocks and invites Jacob on an adventure. Just a short creepy story that popped into my head a few nights ago. Enjoy! I've marked it as completed but I'm considering making it into a much longer piece. I'd love to hear your thoughts on it. **UPDATE** I've decided to try and make a longer story out of this and I've set myself a 300 word target everyday.
