Flatland Stories

Inspired by Edwin Abbott Abbott's Flatland for a younger audience Younger minds will imagine how it might feel like to go to a lower dimension and, hopefully, ask questions about a higher dimension (mathematically speaking) world Illustrations will follow shortly Please watch out for this space. I write kids short stories for kids that involve advanced scientific concepts (but with imaginative license) without the narration explaining them outright. The hypothesis is that these will leave the reader intrigued and curious enough to ask a series of questions to her parents.. developing the child's curiosity, fascination and imagination. Feedback from parents will be appreciated.

This is my take on the many inhabitants of Flatland, the essay by Edwin A. Abbott. Every shape will be given a chance to tell you the perspective of Flatland.

Hello and welcome to the biggest analysis you'll ever read on a triangle. This is the published version of my analysis on Bill Cipher's past from Gravity Falls. It is over 90 pages long in Google docs and took two years to complete. In this post, I will be going over everything I have discovered to Bill's past after I read the book Flatland, a romance of many dimensions. This is the book he is based off of. Based on Edwin A. Abbott's 1884 novella "Flatland: A Romance of Many Dimensions", this reboot follows the adventures of a square and his hexagonal grandson, on an epic journey through dimensions. They have lived their lives in the second dimension, where being regular is expected, and where the third dimension is forbidden. In conjunction to Abbott's writings, a sphere comes to Flatland, and turns our heroes' reality upside-down. And it doesn't stop there, with beings from other dimensions ascending and descending, and eventually arriving to the same astounding conclusion about the nature of the universe. This modern and refreshed look at the original masterpiece has new ideas about perceptions of the universe, will leave you with thought-provoking questions, and will make you question your own reality.

At the lenght of the years magic has slowly been stopped to be appreciated to become a thing despised by everyone. Blood is spread everywhere. Devotes persecute and kill each other at the streets and a civil war that would bring death for the several next years starts. In the middle of this chaos, Arthur Lown, Earl of the Earldom of Qallendar crosses the kingdom accompanied by six hundred loyal men in order to rescue his daughter that finds herlself in danger in the other side of the realm. Thalia and Arthur have been stranged for the best part of the last year and the earl fears that she is in terrible danger.
