A brush of sweeping fabric, so gentle across her cheek. His glass lay shattered on the floor, reminiscent of so many swirling opium dens in their feasting days - even now, that sweetness seems bitter. She smiles insincerely, lips the red of winter holly, and breathes a wish for stolen charm over the barren room. It makes no reply.

An ever-growing portfolio of poetry. Containing works of truth, facets of imagination and the joys and pains of growing up, "Fleeting" details the happenings of this life, and the one thing all must eventually face.

Kino and Yuan's chance encounter sparks a profound friendship and unexpected emotions. Through shared moments of laughter and vulnerability, Kino learns that courage isn't just about pursuing dreams but also embracing connections along the way. Confronting unanswered questions later in life, Kino realizes that some bonds defy time, revealing that true courage resides in risking the heart for lasting connections.

These are the fleeting thoughts I didn't let go, assembled into stanzas and lines.
