This story revolves around Fleetwood Mac starting during the Rumours era and going beyond. However, it does not tell the story of Stevie Nicks shooting daggers with her eyes across the stage to her former lover Lindsey Buckingham it focuses on the second couple sharing the stage with them. This story focuses on Christine and John McVie. As we all know their marriage was very much in debris by 1975 and eventually ended in divorce in 1978. My little fic here is all about 'What if not?' What if they had found a way to pull themselves together and made it work, continuing to stay the couple they never could be? This story also brings forth a character that could be all of us, and you might find a little bit of yourself in her. This story is obviously based on real life human beings that actually existed and still exist. This story however, although based on true events, is purely fictitious. While I did try my best to stay true to the real life characteristics of the people I'm writing about all the events described here have been conjured up by me and are not in any way real. Some characters in this story are not real either and purely a figment of my imagination. I hope you enjoy this little fic about a very underrated couple that I feel is deserving of more recognition, as it is my opinion, that the bond they shared was far greater than they ever let us believe. {side note: English isn't my first language so apologies if some things sound strange}

"You're a liar." "I never told you that I was human, I never even told you my age," He was irritated now. "Liar by exclusion." Indie felt her anger starting to override the calm she had fronted. "Still a liar." Indie could see the frustration build in his eyes. "I'm sorry. But honestly, what was I supposed to do? Approach you with my fangs bared and blood on my face and say 'I'm a monster will you please go on a date with me?" He was pissed now, his eyes glaring into her. His anger quickly morphed to regret. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that." He looked down at the table. "You have every right to be angry, but I never intended for any of this to happen. I felt gratitude to you and then I started having feelings for you. Before I knew it, I was caught in the web of deceit and I didn't know what to do." "You want to know what you should've done?" Indie's false calm melted into fear and fury. "You should've never talked to me in the first place. You should've left me alone." The anger forced her to rise to her feet. "We're done here." She stormed out of the diner, leaving him behind. He didn't follow her. ~ Indiana had expected for college to be fairly straight forward. She would go to classes, make friends, go to the occasional party, and, if she were lucky, she would fall in love. But when at the end of her sophomore year, she almost runs over the handsome, and surprisingly naked, Septimus Carter, she could've never imagined that this man would change her life. Septimus Carter had only wanted to live a comfortable life with his mother in their small house. But the night of October 1st would spell the end of his dreams, when a vampire, Ira Ackerman, murders Septimus' mother right in front of him. He vows from that moment to kill Ira Ackerman no matter what it would cost him. Even if the price was his mortality.

Star lives a simple normal quiet life until one day she meets him. For three weeks her life is taken to new limits but when he has to leave she feels like it's the end. That was until the letters started arriving.

I find it easier to write in story form than to journal, therefore I am using this story to get out all of the emotions and troubles that I have experienced over the past year. This story will start from last year, and slowly make its way to present time. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I'm going to enjoy writing it.

Eventually, needing a holiday, Chris flew to Maui, where she and her dear friend and ex-husband, John, spent time together at his little house in Lahaina. This story-- a mixture of a lot of facts and obviously some fiction!-- delves into the couple's history in Fleetwood Mac, chronicling their difficult split and the close relationship that followed. The bond between them truly lasted all of their lives.
