However, I have made slight tweaks to the way the game functions (there is one of every role, except twin, which means that there will be both a witch and a scout, a dark psychic and an assassin, a savior and a medic and a muffin man and twins.) I have also made slight tweaks (headcanons) to most characters. This story is number 1 in a series of 3 stories. Alone Again is a book based on Roblox game, 'Flicker'. Minji, a 19 year old girl, wakes up in a mysterious house with 14 others after her closest friend goes missing.

A group of people finds themselves somewhere else... a place that shouldn't exist. An endless labyrinth of darkness, its walls shifting and vanishing whenever the light fades. Their only source of illumination is a fragile candle, barely bright enough to fully reveal the darkness in front of them. They don't know how they got here. They don't remember ever meeting. But something is watching them from the shadows, lurking just beyond the edges of their light. The longer they stay in this place, the more they forget who they are, where they came from, and why they were brought here in the first place. Somewhere in the darkness, an exit exists. But reaching it means surviving the nightmare long enough to find it. And in a world where even memories can be swallowed whole, escaping may not be as simple as waking up. But as soon as he encounters the last murderer Those memories return. Moments later he realises that another game has started, and this time it's not his life that's on the line. But the life of his friend, Miguel. It's up to him to save Miguel and to defeat the game after all, or the case closes with each and every player dead.

With a Flicker of the lights, out goes your lights. Marcus Howler, and his girlfriend Jessica Rowley, love thrills. They love all things that bring a sense of fear and danger to one's heart. Roller Coasters, Skydiving, Escape Rooms, and everything else. When they hear about a new interactive murder mystery night held by a popular mystery company, they went off the walls with excitement. The passes weren't cheap, and the host seems a little odd, but Marcus and Jess doesn't see anything wrong when he meets the other participants. That was until something went horribly wrong. Someone dies for real, and they needs to fight for their life to find the killer, leave no time to mourn the dead players, and find the courage and strength to escape the horrors of a game of Flicker.
