1969. using the excuse of diner fries a greaser girl befriends a grinning surfer boy. betraying her brothers hatred for surfers and the towns hatred of bikers they spend each and every moment they can together. a sweet romance bakes between the two as they get a taste of each others worlds. with a merging of the opposites the biker finds her voice to speak up against the wrongs in their society and is shown the differences she can make for herself and women that come after her.

"You're a real honey ya know" a little startled, she peers her eyes up at him instead of the paper, eyebrows now quirked before prying her chin up to face him entirely. He lets his grin take over, enjoying her confused gaze studying his approach. "got a name?" her tongue sweeps over her lips, only drawing him in ten times more, before she sighs in response. Shaking her head and dropping her eyes back down to the menu.
Now thinking she'd been wrong to assume he was a nice a guy, and now he's about to hit on her when all she wants is some food and a distraction from sleazy men.
Straight away, he zeroes in on the thick red paint lining her lips, ideas appearing in his mind the longer he watches them. "Rose?" a gentle shake of the head no. "Cherry?" another shake of the head. "Apple?" a quirk of the brow.
Noticing his eyes turning to honey as they gaze at the lipstick decorating her mouth, she interrupts his next guess. "I think you're just naming red things"
He continues with his next guesses. To hold back the smile trying to fight its way on her face, she presses her lips together in a tight line. "Sugar? Gum drop? Sherbet?"
"Now you're just naming candy" her eyes roll at his useless guesses, but a smile manages to stay prominent on her cheeks, just as he hoped for.
"You seem to like candy"
