Flaky es una chica tímida que estudia psiquiatría y tiene un gran amor por la lectura. Un día descubre que el autor de sus libros favoritos es el alumno mas callado de la escuela y por si fuera poco el ayudante de biblioteca: Flippy, que sufre de un trastorno de doble personalidad.

Flaky is the shy porcupine of Happy Tree. She has many things she likes to do, but not many know that besides her closest friends. She has had a hard time keeping a job because something always happens, until one day, she gets hired to work for a newspaper company. Now that she has a stable source of income, she thought her life would be a little easier. It was not. Now she needs to take self defense because of all of the dangers her job surprisingly had. Will she survive? probably not, but she will try. Maybe her new friends can help? Hopefully.

Flaky, the unknown girl who steps into 'happy tree friends' town, off to a better start but danger lurks around in this town, a cursed place which death is inevitable and only to be resurrected to be dead again. Flaky, finds herself in a difficult situation with a war veteran, flippy, the two shares such a bond with each other will it break or last... but then again danger always lurks around in this town even people...

at this point flippy was cured of fliqpy everyone knew even flaky was not scared of him that much and they became friends...or maybe more...but no one goes away that easily...

As she starts to learn more and more about the town, that's not the only thing she finds out. Something's up with her new roommate too.. Then another letter comes..
