Every night, George the shepherd read murder mysteries to his flock, never realizing they were taking notes. When George is found dead under suspicious circumstances, the humans see a tragedy-but the sheep see a crime scene. Led by the brave ram Hamish and the observant Miss Maple, the flock must use every "Whodunnit" trope they've learned to catch a killer who thinks he's the smartest man in the room. Think you can pull the wool over their eyes? Think again.

Dalia has been struggling to pay for medical school. She picks up a job as a bar waitress, where she meets a not so nice someone. I was in the lab that me and the other experiments called the School. Next to me I heard a whimper. Alazne. She was my younger sister, and she was wrapping herself in her wings. I'm not the first one to write about speculative zoology, I was inspired by many books and tv shows which introduced the idea to me. Those which helped me the most with this project were H.G. Wells' Time Machine and Dougal Dixon's After Man. As well, I should mention the documentary style tv episodes The Future is Wild. With all these sources I was able to finally come up with my own story: Fifty Million Years from Now.
